the fact that it took ages to code is not an issue. everybody knows how shitty of a program vbullettin is if you want extensive customisation.

what's astonishing is that they didn't figure out basic shit before making it go live, such as that edits delete posts, that PMs barely work, that it's impossible to upload avatars, just really basic features like this.

was there really no sandbox before releasing this?

it's not that it took ages for them to code that bothers me it's that they can't edit the code they have. yes, vbulletin is difficult to manipulate (i've had first hand experience) but if you don't know what you're doing then do everyone a favor and don't TOUCH IT.
