Skull Jeans by An Alchemist

Anyone have any experience sizing up on their 5010s? I want to pick up a pair of the grays, but am wary of how slim skulls fit. At the same time, not to keen on having the waist stretch out a few inches bigger than my waist. Curious if anyone has given this a shot?

i'm a size 26 in mainstream brands (sevens, diesels, etc.), 5' 5" & appx. 110 if that helps. The hips on these though are really small but can be stretched with some effort.

So I got the new Skull Linda Bootcut one-wash from BiG today. I ended up sizing up to a 3 and they are 1) smaller than measurements on the site and 2)insanely tight. I think I'm probably a true 27 right now and I have to lie down to button them.

What is bizarre is that even other rigid denim with the measurements of the Lindas are usually too big on me. I'm hoping they will stretch, esp. the hip area which is painfully small.

Yeah I just got my 5010xx 6x6 o/w and they fit great everywhere beside the hip/waist which I'm having trouble buttoning up. I gotta do some squats in these.

thanks, definitely helpful information. we've been talking it over, and i think she's going to keep looking at other brands. my woman has some hips on her and she's worried about the fit.

Just exchange them for a larger size..

And don't buy one-wash, the one-washed version of Skull's denim isn't pretty... get em raw.

Hey, well I use to have them cuffed, but not anymore. I noticed that i was getting a rip on where I had my jeans cuffed at so i stopped. I only have them cuffed now when I wear my chucks, other then that my skulls are worm uncuffed.

well if you get a pair or raw 5010's and you have big hips you wanna go with your true waist, they may be tight in the waist when you first get them but they will stretch.

That's what I figured. I went with true-to-size, a size 30, for a guy who fits in size 28 for APC New Standards. I mean, it's definitely difficult to button, and I haven't successfully had the second button from the top, but I've got the bottom two and the top button done. I've heard of the magical, mystical stretching properties of Skulls, and I figure, I'll sleep in it and see how it is by the end of the week.

from who? the waist will likely stretch to accomodate you if you can button the top button but otherwise no.

well the raws stretch about an inch but i dont know about the one-wash. i would trade for a raw pair of your true size.

Yeah, wore them to sleep last night. I can button the top, but these things are still ridiculously tight. Guess it's time to trade up to a 31 raw and put these on the Supermarket.

Oh well.

This is what I'm talking about! I still can't button the 2nd button from the top, but I can fit in them. Slept in them last night, and might do so until the end of the week and see how it goes.
