Jandek at Instal-05 in Glasgow last month. Tough but rewarding listening. Unintentionally funny moment was noticing all the Japanese musos asleep in the back with jet-lag. Checked out Black-Boned Angel NZ drone druids too.

i am just expressing me appreciation towards thee lad. previously i had only heard maybe 4 or 5 of his albums and i thought they were shite and onlyu for pretentious music nrds ( a la moi, mais je ne suis pas beaucoup de temp pour chercher beaucoup de musiques). and alas the last two albums of his i have listened to, i like il ike. c;est bon... ouai?

Wow, I'm surprised to find a thread on Jandek at superfuture. I'm not sure what to call what he makes, but I enjoy listening to it now and then. Seeing him live would be very strange, I'm sure.
