Where can I find a unique beaded or sterling silver necklace or pendant for a girl in LA? Does Opening Ceremony or Scout carry jewelry? The stuff I saw at American Rag looked pretty average. My budget is under $200.

I want something that is more fashion inspired (perhaps vintage looking?) and less desperate housewives.

My favorites for womens jewelry are Ann D and Natalia Brilli, but both are probably outside of your budget. Brilli is just soooooo amazing though.

May not be what you're looking for, but there's a Japanese design collective called No 84 (or sth similar), who've got a rignt encased in cement. The idea is that the cement parts will age, crack, and stain just like real pavement! Somewhat interesting concept and pretty cheap too.

Alternatively I guess you could PM Jane or JJ...remember them rocking some interesting jewellry.

Brilli's latest collection includes some absolutely stunning pieces. I also highly recommend Bliss Lau (and...um...Erin Wasson?) and her chain vests and whatnot.

The problem is though that a necklace is like $350. Very fair for what you're getting, but a budget is a budget.
