I thought abut getting fight night, I really liked the last one, but no one I know has it except for wesley pipes and he plays on 360. I think he's really good at that game though.

and under pressure, i'm not getting my moves out

althouhg maybe online has different timing

online definitely isn't the best place to learn yeah. the timing can vary online.

under pressure you should be aware that you might not be able to get moves out. check srk and get a basic understanding of frame data and you'll be okay. you can learn your characters frame shit some and work from there.

basically, every move has a different speed and will put you at an advantage/disadvantage on hit/block depending on this data. people will exploit your desire to mash out of pressure with frame traps, by putting themselves at a frame advantage.

block a lot (I need to take this advice)

edit: figured you might mean 'under pressure' in another sense and in that instance it's just muscle memory and chilling out a bit.

offline, its iffy. if you can't get them online then you'll just have to practice more. there are methods to help with hard links (plinking, double tapping) but I can't help you much there as I'm just now learning some harder links and have little experience with that.

for the most part the new chars are beyond disappointing....no cyclops, cable, venom, juggernaut, psylocke, jin, megaman, etc etc....instead there's a racoon #smh

why do you expect cyclops, cable, venom, juggernaut or psylocke? those are all old characters who have been in the versus franchise before. furthermore, they are culturally irrelevant..

the marvel roster for 3 has many more avengers because of the upcoming movies.. and some of the choices are a little obscure, but their novelty might be rewarding. there's potential that the new chracters play similar to old characters, or even better

on the capcom side, it seems theyve given up on the megaman series, and it feels like theyre going to give a ghouls and goblins reboot or something with arthur and the red arremer in it.. oh well.
