How to repair holes in APCs

So I've been wearing my APC New Standards for about two months now. I guess I got something on my jeans over the weekend, so yesterday I was trying to clean off this spot and when I did the denim just fell apart. It looks almost like the jeans were burned with a cigarette. At about mid thigh on the left leg there are two little holes about the size of a cigarette maybe a little smaller. A little later in the day I noticed a similar hole a little larger by my right ankle on the jeans. I wouldn't mind so much if they looked like they were worn in but they just look like perfect circles punched right through the denim. So now im wondering what the best way to try and repair them is or if I should even try and repair them at all. Any advice?

Thanks for the help but unfortunately the whole in my jeans does not look like the one on the 45rpm website. The only two real solutions I see to the problem are sewing up the holes or patching them. I'm just not sure what effects that would have on the fading of the jeans. I guess I was just wondering what you guys thought would look best. The reason why im hesitant to patch or sew the area is because of the location, I'm afraid it may look a little off.

thibbs - take them to a tailor. for $5 or $10 you'll get much better results than you will at home (unless you've got a sweet sewing machine set-up).
