Dior MIJ 21cm at 1 year with one wash at 9 months. Worn almost every other day so it's not totally a year's worth of wear, but I love them. The left back pocket is starting to tear too.

My favorite pair of jeans hands down.

I'll be dropping by London next week and I see I can find Dior jeans in Harold's, Browns and Selfridge. Anyone know how much will a 19cm raw be? And also, any other place to get them for cheaper? Online maybe?

Browns has both the 19 and 21 raw MIJ for 165-170GBP. I ordered from Browns Website (brownsfashion.com) and paid in GBP, they take off the 17%VAT and add about 20GBP for shipping (to Asia) which funny enough turns out to be cheaper than buying them at the store. Plus, USD is strong compared to the GBP right now.

hemming washed pairs will make them look weird because they're treated 'special' in the hem area and you lose that part of the wash completely and the old seam will even increase that effect.

hemming raws is no problem before wearing but remember that combs etc. will eat a lot of the length.

if youre six feet tall i would never hem them

im 175cm and i dont even think mine need to be hemmed

i am rather new in this so hopefully someone can guide me on this. what's the diff between MIJ and MII raw indigo? i know the material used for MIJ is better of, the pockets are bigger, stretched lesser. how about the color of the indigo for MII and MIJ, is it the same tone? and will a 19cm MII fits and cuts the same way as MIJ?

if i can fit into a APC NS 31 after week's of stretching , what size of MIJ 19cm should i take for a slim straight leg fit? not considering 21cm , becuz a w32 or w33 dior , has about 20cm leg opening.

I'm 6'2" and I hem. Runway looks were hemmed. I've had atelier samples hemmed to 31". I've also had washed jeans from SS06 with distressed hems, and they measured 31" from the factory.

I always thought that 36" is the only exiting length.

First ones are the new stretchy 17.5 cm jeans and the second ones look like either dark blue or black 19 cm jeans with coating (waxing moon, once upon blue, nightfall, etc..)

I'm a 29 waist but my thighs are a bit 'big' for my size, I guess. I tried on the size 30 and they were really loose in the waist and a bit loose in the thigh. when I tried the 29s, I couldn't even get them up on my waist due to the thighs/rise, they got to right under my waist (when I say waist, I mean hip bone area). I only managed two buttons.

The gentleman at the DH store told me they would stretch almost a size (as is pretty much the consensus here, seemingly).

Would it be plausible to expect these to fit after a week or so of wearing them around the house? I just need them to stretch like half an inch in the thigh and they would fit perfect everywhere.

Any help would be very much appreciated. I've wanted a pair of these for a while now and this has been something of a disappointment

They will stretch after a few weeks, but they still might not stretch enough in the thighs to look good. Honestly, 19 cm diors dont work for everybody, you might just have to settle for another brand that has a more flattering fit, or maybe try 21 cm. Or, you could size up on the 19cm like you mentioned and then have the waist altered to fit you.

I strongly suggest you to switch to 21cm. I was in the same situation as you, my first pair of diors were 19cm size 28. They felt too tight on me in the thigh area but the waist was tolerable, but I still decided to size up to a size 29. Thigh area was better but then the waist was just too loose, not to mention the extra stretching that will occur. I bought a pair of 21cm in size 28 and it was the best decision I've ever made. You won't regret it.

if the cut doesn't suit you, don't wear them. you have other options, don't squeeze yourself into them just because they're dior.

and switching from 21cm to 19cm is pointless since the cut is the same in the thigh. it might make things look a bit more proportional, but other than that, it'll look like shit.

Wow. Those Nudies have a lot lower crotch but the calf looks a lot thinner due to lack of stacking.

They're sanfordized denim, so they shouldn't shrink much after you wash them. I don't think most people soak their Diors, I know I didn't.

I might have a pair of brand new with tags dior 19cm mij indigo raw in size 29 up for sale. I got em, tried em on once, and not sure what to think of them. Any interest? Just looking to get what I paid for them which would still be less than retail. PM if interested.

theyre silver selvedge, i think, which would explain that overall look. The weft is dark grey and the weave is tighter so the raw denim sheen looks more all-over.

i measured the middle of my thigh and its 21.5inch whereas the thickest of my thigh is 25inch.

and i measure my jeans , from the crotch area , horizontally across to the end of the jeans exceeding the stitch till the back. is 12.5inch.

what size should i get for a dior 19cm cut?

my true waist is about 36

grapist told me a w33 has a 12.25 inch thigh , and a w34 has a 12.5 inch thigh.

please advice.

the current jeans is a 21cm , and its more to the baggy side.

am worrying more on the thigh actually.
