Working at H&M

I recently have been offered a position in the new H&M opening in seattle mall location. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience working for the company and what it was like for them.

a friend of mine did. the store was packed everyday, with customers putting random clothes anywhere.

Basically he told me it was as hard as working at McDonald's, except you don't smell bad at the end of your day.

I'm not even sure co-workers know that they "wannabe" hipsters. They go with pop cultures flow, and pop culture's flow is becoming ever more hipster.

the amount of clothes they have to put away from people trying on is ridiculous.

brad, i remember you admited that you work at a certain non-sufu approved retailer of clothing, which i wont bother to snitch because you're ok in my book,

but both you and misterko have no idea how boring it is to work in a non-traffic clothing retailer. having shit to put away and be busy is better than pretending to dust shit when youre being spied on remotely by camera from the internet.

i would have to agee with azn8oi, at least you will never get bored because of the ridiculous amounts of go backs they have due their volume. time always passes much faster when you have constantly have something to do. but who cares if you have "wannabe hipster co-workers", it's all about making that cash money. ya dig?

I haven't worked for H&M personally, but I do know a couple employees over in Vancouver and from what they tell me, it's a good job but you have to put back and organize a rediculous amount of clothes. A majority of the customers are wannabe hipster/hypebeast kids but after the H&M hype goes down (there will be since the store's new in WA), it's pretty much the on same level of Urban Outfitters, customer wise.

if youre working men's department, it's hella easy.

the only hard part is that you consistently have to put away about 50-100 garments an hour from fitting rooms
