Am I the only one interested in a more straight fit jean? So far in my collection I have New Standards, Even Stevens, Dry Bones Red-D's....I'm kind into a straighter leg jean, and seeing as how these are going to come out in the Winter, having something heavier and baggier might be best for that time. I vote for a fit similar to this: dscn6248ay5.jpg

Those are the Bear x Eternals, and I think we should find those measurements and knock up something similar. I think a heavy weight denim would be awesome and a fit similar to that for the winter. Cold denim against your legs is fail.

Beatle check your PM's when you get a chance. I sent you an .eps of the patch art in case you need it for high-res mock ups of the jeans.

is it ok to have that superfuture logo on there?

I just remember the owners of the site taking issue with putting the logo on the last contest patch and asked to have it removed from preliminary designs.

We're not going to have a lowrise jeans...as stated -

The jean will be a midrise ...

For instance - size 32

Frontrise 11 - backrise 14,5

Thigh - 11,5

Knee - 8,5 - and leg opening 8

So nothing supertapered...if you check the Eternal sizing - it's almost identical...just a longer inseam - which might lead to superstacking ..but you don't need to have that - if you buy the right inseam/ get it chainstitched...

I think this is absolutely perfect. Finalize it.

When talking measurements, use a size 30 for example purposes...

I think it is...LOL..but that does'nt mean anything ..

If you are looking for a more tapered fit - you'll have to buy another jeans...

Half an inch difference from he knee is gonna be the golden cut...and for example - size 33 or 34 would be a leg opening of 8,25 - and I don't think that falls over the shoes...

measurements sound nice to me.

how long will the inseam be btw? 38 like on the tags? that would be crazy, as the sanforized denim won´t shrink a lot.

isn´t it possibe to get two different length, maybe? because if you have to hem from a 38, you´ll lose a lot of the taper the cut originally has...

An 8 "" leg opening on the bigger sizes ( what size are u talking about ) would result in a really tapered fit...

That just would'nt work out for a slim straight fit...

Well I wear a size 33. We could go bigger than that, but I hate when the hem of my jeans drag.

Another bit of info..

Listing measurements here isn't going to yield that identical jean.

Designing cuts has far less to do with moving numbers around and far more to do with cutting an actual pattern and making mock ups... So in the end, i'm sure you'll all love the cut, the numbers probably won't match up to what you might have expected.

Got that...I actually think it would be nice to leave some off the drops (wave) black...

I agree beatle but I just assumed that it had to be 1 color (with the lot # and sizes stamped on)

If we can do 2 colors here is my suggestion for that.

Size 30

Front rise 10,75

Backrise 14

Thigh 11,25

Knee 8,3

Leg opening 7,8

I know this is approximate and all that, but is this thigh measurement BiG style or Self Edge style? Either way, that thigh being narrower than the 634 probably rules me out of this one. Have fun though, sounds epic.
