anyone else think that beinghunted was being kind of pompous when they dropped the news on the supreme vans?

i mean, seriously...that's pretty fucking condescending.

i like being hunted and all, but i think anyone who goes to that website has to have, at the very least, one pair of slipons/old skools.

Hehe, I think they're just poking fun at the NT type who go where the hype is. Honestly, they're doing the same thing, just without the sneaker themed tee shirts. Which is fine. I guess I'm like that too. Just a joke.

And yes, the shoes are hot. Good colors and patterns. Simple as that. No more hype needed.

anyone have any idea (or a guess) how much these things will run? I've never bought anything from Supreme (or any cobranded vans) so I'm not really sure how it works.

I don't remember how much the last Supreme Vans went for, but I'd be surprised if they go for too much more than regular Vans. Maybe $65 for the Chukka and Sk8-Hi models?...little less for the Old Skools.

I quite like these. First thing Supreme has had a hand in in a while that I've been interested in. The idea that people will be standing in line thanks to the hype (after previous Supreme Vans had been essentially ignored by the fanboys) is putting me off though.

Supreme receives a TON of pairs of these, you shouldnt have to worry about them selling out unless you're really late.

i remember seeing the last supreme vans sk8 lo with the FBI print sitting on the sale rack for quite some time. so yea, dont worry about missing out on these (assuming they are produced in the same number)

Werent those brown chukka boots part of the earlier release ealier this year or late last year? I remember seein those. Are they gonna re-release them this time? I would love a pair of those and the black chukkas. I think they are all pretty ill...Looking to pickup a pair or two.

yeah you can get chukkas, but the standard suede ones only come in black and blue (supreme ones don't have the foxing stripe, have monochrome laces and have a nice leather insole). tan w/tan laces are unique. this past summer vans did some tan canvas ones w/dark green foxing stripe and green laces. anyway, the devil's in the details and the Supremes are def a leg up.

Supreme NYC already has these on display. Not sure if they are for sale yet but nobody really seemed interested in them. I guess the kids were there for the Melvins.

yeah if you like two-tone or patterned canvas and flatout busted leather Vault models: there's a reason they're 19.99! it don't get any better than solid suede on white with gum soles! the off-color foxing w/matching soles is lame.
