I think I made a thread proposing that new members should be required to make a minimum amount of posts before creating a Supermarket thread. That would probably keep alot of Niketalkers/Hypebeasters from signing up just to access another quick outlet to hock their crap.

i like this idea, although it could cause random spamming just to get post counts up.

yeah, ISS requires 100 posts to sell stuff, so i just did a lot of spamming when i wanted to sell stuff. the sad thing is you couldnt tell the difference between my spam and serious posts.

but ya, i dont think sufu should have that policy because it will just cause spam and useless posts

The breaking down into subforums is the best idea... seriously, with the speed the supermarket moves at, I have to dig through several pages before I find something I like.

It does not look good for advertisers and commercial clients when a large part of the supermarket is seller/buyers who are badly dressed hypebeasts who immigrated just to sell their crap. This is directly opposed to the superfuture idea of 'global shopping experts', as these kids only know how to wear supreme, and maybe some half-assed brands like 'king stampede' or whatever they are into these days.

This is a serious problem, and I don't really care which way superfuture goes as a business, but they need to fix this not only for business reasons, but so the members of this community can find good stuff in the market.

As well, people would have to bump their sales threads less, which means a greater number of posts would be actual talk and contribution...

Maybe it's even possible to enhance the supertags in some way in order to make this work. Reserve a set of supermarket-specific keywords that people can categorize their thread under perhaps? The blob at the bottom is already a bit of a mess to find things in, so a separate one for the keywords would probably need to be made. Would be kind of intrusive to have at the top, but then also a hassle for people to scroll down to the bottom to click the tag (which isn't any more trouble than it is now). Anyways, point being that maybe some of the stuff that's already there could be leveraged.

^word, even the 45rpm shirts i have, pit to pit measurements might not change, but tagged sizes are 2, 3 and 4. not to mention oversize pieces.

most WTB threads would be easily reconciled if the posters did any googling or used the proxy services

Sufu operates like prime brokerage n' hedge funds.

Certain dealers (still,winq,etc.) have high quality goods at great prices that sell quickly.

Everybody wants to go to them, hence they can control a price premium and maintain high reputation.

Crappy brokers will need to sell lower and be more lenient in their terms to get sellers.
