Favorite 08.09 Line

after reading the ysl thread and all the people raving at how it's their favorite line-up thus far, thought I'd start a poll where we can discuss the various 08.09 fashion lines. i realize some of the labels included in the poll are very different from others and may not be a fair comparison, but seeing as we've got people from all over the spectrum here on sufu, i thought it'd be interesting to see what people's opinions are.

Damir Doma... fits the aesthetic I like and I'll hopefully be able to purchase some pieces when we get to that season.

APC didn't have a FW 08/09 show. KVA sucked... Dior Homme was a joke... Everything else was pretty awesome though.

NN had my favorite show in terms of just looking.

Rick Owens will most likely get all my money though...

Dries Van Noten. I'm really surprised how little of a response it seemed to get, I thought it was fantastic. It was always elegant, moved in and out of a variety of silhouettes seamlessly, incorporated color, texture and a variety of influences well.

Conceptually, it didn't "wow" me like the best Raf and Chalayan has done, but then, nothing this season really did.

Attachment was hands down my favourite. the heavily themed styling was exceptional considering how easy most of the clothes would be to wear in a "regular" outfit. I didn't see a single piece that couldn't work in a completely modern outfit.

Could easily have voted Damir Doma (less the garbage bag thing) or YSL.

YSL gets my vote...I typically wear black white & gray but YSL's collection definitely makes me want to incorporate color to my wardrobe...

i really enjoyed lanvin, attatchment, dries and still have a love/hate attitude towards n(n), but i voted for jil sander. wasnt digging the footwear so much, but i could see myself wearing those clothes moreso than the other collections

However, the few pics from Julius were enticing and I would like to see more from that line before I can declare one champion of the 08/09 blood battle.
