Here we go...

So a little background...these came from a "general store" in the boonies of Fukuoka. The price I paid was way under retail, but enough that I will be anally raped with no lube if they are Thai fakes.

Can anyone help me out and shed some light if they are authentic or not? Much appreciated! :o

Sticking my neck out, after a quick look, I think they're legit. Don't like the finish, though,.

Edit: after another couple of minutes' look, I'm not certain, because the pocket shape looks wrong, altho the arcuate is exactly like the 50s LVC japan repros I've seen and the 2-horse tag, which fakers normally get wrong, looks good. I would need to see more pix, but on balance I would still think they're legit.

I think the same way like Paul T, LVC Japan did many unauthentic Levis repros with strange details... And by the way the only Fakes of LVC I know are the thai fakes which are easy to recognize, often these got exposed selvage lines at the watch pocket or exposed rivets with diamond shaped arcuates and oilclothes waistband tags etc...
