common MADE good music and WAS good live. his last two records are bland as fuck and his live show is heinous. i have checked him out on every tour since like water for chocolate. he was even good when playing electric circus material and that album was god awful. then when be came out his show turned into ghetto performance art (only without the acting ability) and by the time he toured finding forever he was on some interpetitive dance/contemplative soliliquay shit. nigga think he othello. i guess if jeremy piven likes it, its awesome, but i think dude got terrible.

I saw him 3 months ago live. With Qtip and percee P. Shit was ALL THE WAY LIVE. I just don't like that he didn't play anything from LWFC. Except the light (getting tired com)

this is what i have been saying for a couple years now. is it possible to respect someone who dresses great yet listens to shit music...or cares not for other facets of culture? almost impossible for me...

there should be an equillibrium (not just a fashionable/stylish shell).

Funny that you mention this. I find it to be the opposite amongst the people I've met through university. They'll have a decent taste in music, but dress poorly.

i been to a couple of showbizz events. mainstream ones. the actors/celebs may dress alright, but this is obviously due to there stylists (and sometimes the stylists and the animated mannequins they cloth look shit).

i agree about what you said, that it is not necessary to own nice things (but the appreciation of factor). but how hard is it to download "good" music that is cohesive to one's wardrobe/lifestyle? if there is no cohesion, i might be able to admire a nigga's wardrobe, but i would find it very difficult to totally respect him.

sufu niggas have got to go the entire mile. it is ridiculous that certain people would spend so much on clothing yet listen to such shit music.

I think the truth of the matter is that it's pretty unusual to find people with good taste in music or fashion, thus finding someone with both is much harder.

To me the really sad thing about having good taste in fashion is that it can falsely make you look interesting, when in reality you're as dry as a mother teresa's cooch (rip)
