My new ALDEN for WinnPerry Officer Boot was waiting for me on my bed after a long day of work. I am pretty pleased overall with them, but was almost disappointed when i first opened the box. I think they do actually look good in day light though!

I know these are supposed to be casual boots so I'll be wearing with my jeans for the most part, but how do they look with a suit?

I think the pictures aren't capturing the fabric properly - it's far from classic. It's more along the lines of Raf's crazy techno-fabrics, Nylon-wool blend, almost like a series of hundreds of little squares of brown with a filling ranging from dark to light blue. I'll have to get up a non-flash pic so it doesn't wash out.

edit - I snapped these. Can't quite get the colour to come across but the texture is a little more apparent.
