cheap alternatives to clark desert boot or classic redwings in black

quality really doesnt matter for me since i really wont wear them very often and i wont wear them hard. next year i will probally be sick of them anyways. i got these for $30 at kohls of all places but i wish i could find a similar black pair or a generic clark desert boot in black.

those usually have a chunkier toe and sole though. at least the models i have seen. im looking for something with more of a low profile.

Clark desert boots are relatively cheap as is, certainly no more expensive than some Martins.

I would recommend scouring eBay and thrift stores as well. eBay has some pretty good deals on most types of Clarks. Redwings seem to be a little pricier but I'm sure with enough time you'll find something.

There are some generic desert boots around for about £20 on ebay. Don't know what the quality is like.

You can find Clark's Desert Boots on e-bay for less than $75. If you go with a generic brand for much cheaper than that, you are most likely going to be getting poor quality.

I have a pair of Docs and a pair of Red Wings. The sole profiles or heights of both boots are about the same, though the Docs appear chunkier because the air cushioning connects the heel to the toe part of the sole, rather than having a separate heel portion.
