No i wouldn't, I'd be satisfied with the almost identical grey that Mercedes have painted it, save myself a few thousand and retain a factory quality paintjob.

Poly is right too.

Now I really am done with this.

edit: bodykits are just add ons, not alterring the shape.

Not a very difficult alteration but since the top block is more relaxed I'd say it could look silly. I would qualify the Jomons as slim jeans though, just not skin tight. I sold mine because my ideal, non Diorish cut, is more like APC new standards (for example the hem is 7.5" instead of 8") so there was no point in keeping something that didn't satisfy me completely.

an example would be like to rip the bumper off and replace it with a smaller bumper...even though the first one was brand new and in pristine shape.

The point here is he can do whatever he wants with the jeans, I just don't know why you'd spend so much money on a pair to completely alter them. For $700 or whatever he paid, he probably could have gotten a pair of hand made bespoke jeans, and thats the truth too.

Point is, if you have the despensible funds to get something as close to perfect, in your opinion, then do as you wish

maybe u are satisfied more easily than others... some people strive for the best

no no, if you really want to split hairs about it..... as far as I understand, repraying an already painted car would not result in a finish as good as the originl paint, unless you took it back to the bare metal. So in fact you would not end up with the best, unless you dismantle the body of the car to get it back to bare metal and start again.

Much like these jeans. Tapering them at a tailor, you will lose the original stitching and it is doubtful that the finish will be as good as 45rpm's

so it has nothing to do with striving for the best. And the best, as you allude to is just personal opinion of what you think looks nicer. Whereas I would say you are not improving things at all.

Different strokes for different folks.
