Image Consultant

I'm about to graduate from school and enter into the workforce. The dress code at my job is jeans and shirt/t-shirt (very loose), but people dress exceptionally well, for folks not wearing suits.

Anyway, I think I need an image consultation, or atleast someone who could help me shop for some clothes.. I have awkward dimensions, and so I've always had problems finding clothes that work well for me.

Do you think I should look into getting an image consultant?

How expensive would it be for me to do something like this!?

Its, of course, embarrasing for me to ask someone else to do this for me, but I couldn't care less at this point.

honestly though go get yourself measured at a tailor and work from there. also look at waywt, magazines, movies, whatever for inspiration. most "fashion adviser" type people are either idiots or ridiculously expensive.

What everyone else has said. Look around here, go to waywt and save images you really like. If they've posted what each piece is, great, if not, just ask.

Also, if you're in Canada and near a Holts, I know they have personal shoppers who do a simple questionnaire and then will go hunt down pieces that suit you. Have no idea how good it may be... but it is free.

I was going to say the same thing about places like Holt's. I am sure there are places like this at many US dept stores. Only problem is then, you are spending a tonne on clothes.
