*alot of people

I feel as though if you're not a janitor, rock climber, or logger, nowadays having a keyhook(? I guess thats what theyre called?) is a poserish.

I'm assuming having a keyhook holding their car and two house keys must signify something about the person with skinny dark denim jeans that I don't know about.

Nowadays if your walking around the wrong area you'll see throngs of posers huddling in a group with 4 keys between them.

Who's with me?

Of course it is rockclimber-poser because they are not made for rock climbing as it says on most that they should not be used for actual hooks.

It is not a sufu exclusive type thing. A lot of young people do it. Keys can generally get bulky when on a keyring with other keys so it's easier to hang it from a hook instead of holding it in a pocket (bulge) or in a bag (inaccessible). Plus it becomes another accessory.

I don't think this has to do with fashion really, I've used a caribener (sp) for years since I started driving, and it's completely out of convenience since I personally just don't feel too sfae with them in my pockets. I don't think it looks cool or fashionable on me but I've grown so used to it that I just always have it on me. Handy dandy lil tool.

I dunno, I feel bad for the janitors of america who were rocking keyhooks thinking they were unique. Now it feels so cliche.

I guess it would make sense though if you're wearing jeans so tight that you need to put your daily posession someplace outside of your pants.

Hmm, I don't know. Maybe people who can't even fit a ring of keys in their pockets need some sort of, I dunno, bag or something with straps and compartments inside of it so they can make sure their absurdly tight pants are always nice and natural looking.

They could make this bag out of different materials, such as leather or reptilian hide. And there could be all sorts of sizes and designs on them! So now those people can have another accessory so they can look even prett-- i mean better!

Oh yea, they already make something like that.

Maybe keyhooks are just something those people will get before they decide they need one of those big bags with straps that they can put under their arms :\

Ay ay ay! Take it easy. First, it's master of the custodial arts, or a janitor if you want to be a dick about it. Second, I've only seen them with giant keyrings that holy atleast 50 keys including a skeleton key that unlocks the hook shot.

You're gonna NEED the hook shot if you expect to survive the water temple

Personally, I'm not a fan of carabiners cause most people have them in these vibrant colors and they're just too flambuoyant. I always assumed people on sf have them cause they don't want all this bulk in their pockets from their keys, which will mess up the formation of whiskers...

I've always liked this one from wjk, but I've never thought it was worth the 500$ it's priced at.
