I thought all three (oki, edo & hawaii) were based on a 47 cut? Although when I tried on the Hawaii's, they were definitely sized differently than the Oki's.

And I'm pretty sure that link shows a picture of the 47's, and then explains that the 2nd repro they did in that series was a 45, which was LHT and based on Lee....translations are so wonky though, so who knows.

according to bears, at least the oki and hawaii are based on the 66 cut. i have tried on the same size in the 47s and the okis and they were definitely different cuts.
