american apparel asphalt zip hoodie. i treat it like a pair of dry jeans and it has wear marks on the sleeves and stuff. i love the asphalt hoodie. the only one i need. when it starts breaking down take it back to the store and get a new one.

The best hoodies I've seen this year are:

1) Shoreman's hoodie by Rogue's Gallery in brown. (About $180).

2) Mats zip hoodie by Acne Action Jeans (Grey or Black versions) )about $150 in Europe)

3) Oliver Helden black hoodie with print on back ($69)

4) Wings and Horns zip hoodie with bird print in black. ( $170 or thereabouts. )

5) Michael Krell's garment-dyed hoodie with baseball style hem and shoulder pocket detail. (About $ 80)

6) The AA asphalt hoodie with navy thermal lining is my go to hoodie ($54).

Don't buy the Carpe Diem hype. Both are great labels/stores, but c'mon now. A $1500 hoodie puts you deep into fashion victim country.
