Second ones aren't bad but in most places Allen Edmond's along those lines get thrifted constantly so even if you buy them somewhere else / get them all dandied up people just assume you payed $16 for them at Buffalo Exchange or whatever.

First pair looks decent, but I don't like the detailing on the sides.

The allen edmonds are classier also.

Not gonna go for the organ mastuhz?

Not worth the $115+ they'd cost me, and Icarus told me they don't have a long lifespan even after resoling/reheeling them.

Servo: I've got limited options remember... me feetz, they plague me.

keep in mind with shoes like that, they aren't meant to be worn daily... you should really not wear them more than once a week and keep shoe trees in them for the rest of the time

that being said i really like the 2nd ones alot more... but not at that price... i've got brand new AE's for double that price...

they'd probably be switched off with (hopefully) a pair of desert boots and chucks depending on rain/snow/weather

there are plenty of "new" or like worn-once-returned AE's on ebay, but they're not particularly nice, and the price is pretty bogus. Just to reiterate, it's infinitely easier for people with average sized feet to find nice shoes for reasonable prices (you know it to be true). I do not fall into that category.

i don't wear the black or white anymore cause too many people wear them (i.e. lowrider, etc), not to mention i got alota other black and white sneakers already.

i got the "red" burgandies. what says u guys about olive? i can now get a huge discount.

for 200 bucks I don't think i'll find anything that's much closer to what i'm looking for

it's between those and a little dressier aesthetic, and the lacoste high boots which were really fantastic on actually

Are they black canvas? My brightness is turned really low in Windows for whatever reason so I can't tell. If suede = yes then cop. Otherwise $200 for canvas is awfully steep.

If they had those in the congac color i might do it. They seem alright for the price. Really slim profile makes them seem better suited for dressier situations. But then again, you wear a fair amount of geller/BoO buttonups and trousers.

^ndc has that weird turn-up thing going on too. i like those though.

yeah I like N.D.Cs and cdiems have that turn up too... I think its that the toe area looks wide and bulbous in relation to the laces on the ones clo posted...

I've meant to ask you, did you get a pair yet?

Clopek's site reminds me. I really need to find some boots or laceups in a nice medium vintage brown color.

no. regular old dr. martens are sufficient. i'm constantly defending these raf simons collabs on SZ, biut it's basically $300 for doc martens.may kop the monochrome collection 8-holes though.

told justin that jeffrey had the raf x doc and he literally ran right over there. not surprising.

Oh yea, i knew you telling him would get him interested. I'm sure he'll text or facebook message me in a day or two saying he kopped the black/white with red stitching cut out jawns. I know i don't have the money and balls to do it, but it'd be fun to wear once.

the ROs are very similar, but you got to admit they do look badass (for total rip offs)

the hardwear on the mono docs looks good, sharpie work might make you look like any old punk that just thought it was a good idea to draw on their shoes
