i agree with servo. brown/black combo is at the opposite end of the spectrum to perfection.

I think the velcro high tops are actually cheaper but I'm getting the Ricks used so that brings the price lower (Rafs are $675 at South Willard / aren't Rick's usually around $1000?). I like the Ricks more anyway. Rafs are nice but under a pair of pants are going to look a little too similar to a suede pair of Common Projects or something in my opinion.

nurrr, it is was deep purple suede. no black. and dark enough to not scream 'i'm a purple shoe'.
