WESTIE:

On the surface, we are trying to come up with sayings that matsu can use in his korean hostess bar endeavors that will best assist him in scoring some bbohji aka the ill nah nah.

On a secondary level, we are exploring the ubiquitous topic of label whoring amongst koreans.

On a tertiary level, we are trying to figure out how to brainwash insomniac.

Seriously, though...

Begs is great, but what does Team Begs do, really? Isn't it just a Begs worshipping cult? Most of the members can't even spell his name, let alone pronounce it.

.

Red started it as a joke. Its a reference to some headphone forum.

stuntastic confused me with that selfedge shot, esp. since it was the first chat edition pic.

Fer fakk sake! Have some tact. Dizz's suggestions are gems. On hindsight, I dont think you want to use mine (the one about wiping your ass with benjamins), it could invoke the wrong kind of imagery.

Jmat - that will result to a swift crane kick to your balls. play it safe and show some courtesy. after you finish half the bottle, then stick your hand down her shirt and ask for her best PINKLE impression on the mic. Slowly whisper in her ear that Ddokdo is Korea's and then she will drop her panties in a hot instant.

You can do it!

Follow-up pics would be nice.

which one? honestly the girls probably speak jap pretty well, but i thought it'd be cool to spit some sexy-ass romantico shit in their own language. i heard there's a champagn room and everything (it's actually just a karaoke box). i'll let you guy's know next monday when i'm in jp.

what do korean people think about japanese born koreans (zainichi) raised in japan who are devoid of a korean identity?

are there a lot of japanese born koreans? aren't most japanese not down with most other non-japanese azns except for korean soap stars?

there are alot of jap born koreans. i'm sure alot of narrow minded japanese don't really look at them in the same light, but you'd never know the difference unless they still used their korean names.

There are tons of Japanese born Koreans. Geographically, its the closest neighbouring country and the majority of Koreans who have resided there usually changes their family names as well and assimilate well in the Japanese culture. I've actually met a few and you can sense that they feel much more comfortable being a Japanese national rather than a stubborn, soju drinking Korean.

I'm not too sure about other Asian talent making it big in Japan asides from Korean stars. Perhaps J-matsu can enlighten us.

a whole bunch of japanese celebs/sports stars/whatever are zainichi...lots of yakuza too.

i know zainichi face a lot of discrimination and even some legal restrictions are put upon them(as far as i know)

korean chicks + karaoke is a sure bet. you can go the comic route and sing some pop(HOT's Candy for example), you can be cool rap guy and do something by Drunken Tiger, or if you're confident enough kill it with some ballads(lee hyun woo does it for me)

the thing is (and i'm not trying to represent the original actual axis powers here, okay...?), like the jew, koreans in japan own alot of huge companies and have great influence. basically they are korean only by blood. they have infiltrated many facets of japanese biz, whether it be showbiz (like the jew in hollywood), import/export, etc.

another really interesting fact is that pachinko probably originated in korea, according to my sources. 90% of the pachinko industry is owned by korean descended japanese.

i would say that korean stars are more popular than other non jap asian ones in japan.
