Stonewash/light denim comming back?

it will surely be "back" soon, along with bellbottoms and such. Personally I dont really think its something Ill get into. After discovering raw denim, the alternative just feels cheap.

The Levis ones are OK, but that's mostly because they're almost white. Overall, no thanks.

I don't really like any of them... The Levi's are the best, because they at least still look like jeans. All of the others don't look so much like washed denim, but more like the baby-blue pants that you see your grandpa wearing in old pictures...

I think "fashion" denim will always re invigorate trends like coloured and washed denim. I definately think lighter washed denim will be back, probably sooner rather than later.

i see no problem with a standard original stone wash, how the standard levi's look, but at a certain point, it gets too close to baby-blue and kinda gay looking in terms of coloring and putting outfits with it. my mom told me that stonewash truly was just taking your jeans, a rock, and washing them on a washing board + soap + hot water for about 2 hours straight. she used to be a garmento back in the day, so i trust her on her synopsis of how a "real" stonewash involves a pair of STF jeans and a large rock.
