rojo jacobs had a hamstring injury but no word on how severe, which really sucks cuz he's my #1 RB in my other league right now with LJ out.

homi I think the IDP definately adds a dimension to strategizing, but getting 20+ points from a Defensive Player while the average def score is between 2 and 5 is kind of ridiculous. I think next year if we do this again, we should revert to team defense with special teams included, 3 WR, and 1 flex position.

in retrospect, i shouldnt have drafted any defensive players, and just picked up all offensive players and made assessments later on who to drop. you live and you learn.

0.25/tackle is way too little imo (although i never noticed it before), considering passes defensed are worth 1 whole point.

Honestly IDP is the shit, and anyone who says different is bugging.

The tackles are set WAYYYY to low. it should be 1 point per tackle and .5 for a assist. Our defenses score wayyy to few points, and are not the factor they should be, as its a huge part of the game.

I really love IDP leauges, and in playing them for 7 years now, i could not imagine to just play a D. Its cool to have the random elements, as it offers that extra X factor that football is so good for.

And about McGee, i knew, i love him, i have drafted him for 3 years in a row now, even though he only kinda started going big on returns last year.

i dont know, i think this is a good leuage, but points are fucked, and there are waaaayyy too many bench spots.

i think that with 12 teams this many bench spots is kinda uncool, and keeps the wavier wire a little less importiant. not as much action IMO.

hoarding is the unspoken subject when it comes to leagues set up such as ours. obviously it to your advantage to have lots of good players, but then at what point is are you (not you in particular, but the ambiguous "you") just being a dick?

In my other league, one player has picked up literally every single back up to every hurt running back, and actually its paying off nicely for him. but I can't stand the prick.

Then again, additional roster moves after 10 are 5 bucks each, so whatever makes him happy i guess.

Well, I have 6 running backs at the moment. Have been holding at least 4 all year. But how many of them are now healthy for the stretch? With that total I've ended up with 1 solid healthy starter (Addai), Henry's been smokin AND is injured, Lynch is doubtful again, Norwood's been hurt and had a total of about 15 yards last weekend, Dayne played last weekend but is a fill-in and I just picked up Hall as a flyer. I don't think its too many spots at all, I'm barely keeping a line-up together as it is. Romo has carried my ass.

Agree on the scoring for the IDP players though. This is the first time I've played in a league with them but I've payed almost no attention to them all year. Other than to fill in the occasional bye I don't really touch them. It's just not worth it, I'm not going to win a game because my DB scored 5 points instead of 2.35 in a week.

Why wouldnt Chester Taylor play? If he has a game like he did last week, you might be in trouble. I'm hoping for both our sakes that he doesnt, because Damon has him :eek:

I'm gonna have to agree about hoarding backs. My team has lost four straight due to no RB's. Brady can only do so much.
