The xxx denim is a more abrasive course denim with more texture to it.

The straight leg TSL jean which we carry at Self Edge is made of the xx denim, the slim straight model coming out this summer is made of the xxx denim.

XXX denim = 14oz., coarse, more "vinatge" character, irregular

XX denim = 14,5oz, from my link above vertical streaks, more "modern", less slubby

so it's to each ones preference what he likes and you want prefer one denim over the other?

the straight leg you carry is the D62? Or do you also carry the D51?

from all I know so far (with endless searching and e-mails) these run big and shrink to tag-size

dunno if this also applies to the special SE cut

yeah the D62. But kiya said something about a SE-exclusive cut. Slimmer than the D62 and with the XXX denim

nah he wasn't very clear about it. I guess he's not allowed to talk about it or don't want to affront his business-partners at TSL

TSL is available at both stores, just not online (I think).

TSL is available now at both SESF and SENY, we've got belts, bracelets (really cool ones made of cordovan & silver), and a straight leg jean made for us. We're not putting them online for reasons i'd rather not put on a message board. If you see me at the shop i'll be more than happy to explain.

The slim cut is coming (hopefully) and will be made of the XXX denim (straight is the XX denim), we're on our second sample and it's being tweaked, i wouldn't wait for it though.

And your D62XX are exactly like the ones from Japan, just with different leather patch and arcuate, right?

ha, seems Landocal is not so happy with the anti-fit of the TSL D62 model. I better wait for the SE exclusive then; if i can ever see some pictures of it...
