the first time i saw let down it was amazing, cinderblocks being thrown, fireworks going off, all in a pitch black room.

the two times after that have made me fall asleep.

i enjoyed their set way more than i thought i would, tbh i found their recorded output before a bit boring, but they were pretty great live.

I saw let down with blacklisted and ceremony a few weeks ago and they were by far the most boring band at the show

Saw the CRO MAGS a few nights ago, and got some zine at the show called CORRUPTION AND FAGGOTS ALL AROUND ME Fanzine. Great sets, and best zine I've gotten as of recent since nobody does them anymore. Sweet weekend.

tonights event:

convicted - fucking awesome, way better than expected since I saw them before and was not impressed. this time was killer.

let down - snooze fest.

blacklisted - george is kind of goofy but this band was pretty good.

ceremony - first time ever seeing them and they were sick, but for a band ive wanted to see for that long, i was kind of underwhelmed.

have heart - left before they played.

saw lots of friends though, and have heart brings out lots of cute girls.

sorta random but has anyone taken a Flip Video Ultra Camcorder to a hardcore show? I hate fans recording at shows or taking cell phone pics but I'm driving almost 2,000 miles to catch a new years eve show and I'd like to capture one song for memories.

nah dude, i dig your taste, but songs to scream at the sun is pretty great, they took away any bit of jock swagger that their first record had and just made a truly enjoyable record, only complaint is its too short. i need epic hardcore haha. someone give me a hardcore band with 7-8 minute long tracks of fury and ll love you forever.

New Lows too, the inappropriately metal bass drum triplets all over the place just make them better.

You all better be moshing(Letsgetserious I'm looking at you dude!) to Dirty Money when the tour with Trapped Under Ice in January.
