The art industry at large and purveyours of style and street couture, are invited to cast their nominations for their favorite artists online by visiting http://www.interstellarexpo.com/awards.php before midnight of May 17, 2007. The award nominations are reserved strictly for designers, illustrators, graffiti writers and artists of the urban canvas.

This year there are 26 different categories including: Illustrator of the Year; Designer of the Year; Conceptualist of the Year; International Artist of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement in Urban Art.

Recommendations are based on several factors: Concept and Design Methodologies, Originality, Style, Innovation, Influence, Branding and Identity, Character Design, Composition, Impact, and Range.

The official awards dinner and ceremony is set to take place on the final evening of the Interstellar Expo on July 8, 2007 in Hollywood.

Hmm, there's nobody here feeling the swedish artist Akay? Some of his stuff is realy nice, his "I'm sorry" project is nice in my oppinion.

My vote goes to Akay, and I bet most swedes appreciated him atleast.
