I found a store yesterday that sells Jeremy Scott, c-neeon, Aprill 77 and some others, Cassette Playa too I think ... got really excited, only had a few minutes to check it out though.

Forget what the fuck it's called, on Queen on the north side near Sydney's somewhere in between Manning and Trinity-Bellwoods.

Is the train system easy to use? I've never had the opportunity to be in Toronto on my own…I have mostly been there for family functions, etc.

I'd figure if it's still functioning in the later evening I'd like to go around, get some food, drink, and just get my mind off of completing wiping myself off the face of New York.

I don't have much basis for my ease-of-use opinion, since the only other transit system I use regularly is Hamilton's. It's pretty straight-forward; $2.75 a ride, transfers will work going from one mode of transport to the next, except if you want to do a return ride, which is pretty crap imo.

From what I remember, the shit part is that the subway stops running before last call. I hope I'm wrong on that, though.

if you can use the NYC metro, you can use the toronto subway guaranteed. We have what, 4 lines? Depending on how often you'll be using buses/subway each day I'd say to buy a weekly pass and then you wont need to worry about transfers.

No Sunday shit show probably too exhausted and shit though I'll should be in full work mode by Monday considering how much Montreal is cutting into my TO time.

(I'm staying in North York. Where, I don't know. With some azn family members. In the basement. Probably no wi-fi. Will smell like mothballs.)

Oh, you don't wanna get drunk anymore on Sunday? Or meeting or whatever. Will I really have to wait 'til you're in Montreal to see you? Will you really break my heart like this?

:(

I have an empty apartment for a lot of the time (2 extra bedrooms). Last call is 2am. Last train is around 1:30am. Subway system is very simple. Two mainlines, and a couple extended lines for the suburbs. If you can navigate NYC, or Singapore or whatever, then Toronto is simple.

2am is good enough for me. It's just like San Francisco. You start drinking earlier to compensate for the lack of routes home when it gets late…

I live near York University/North York and it can run 35-45$ a cab ride home from anywhere south of Bloor. Last subway from downtown is around 1:30-1:40 and gets into Downsview at around 2.

just hop the 24 hour yonge bus to north york after last call, then grab a short cab to where you need to go. i refuse to let the TTC cut a good night short.
