I was fooled by the Wachowskis producing credit into thinking it might just be a super hardcore no holds barred ninja film. I mean, look at Speed Racer. It certainly wasn't a good movie but you can tell they were dedicated 100% to the visuals of the film and took a ton of expensive risks to show racing scenes that have never been seen before, and succeeded on a lot of levels.

Based on that I thought we might have seen something awesome on a b-film level. Like ninjas slicing up tanks and shit. But yea it was so boring
