about 10 years ago, i was hanging out with a bunch of friends and we were in the mood for a little thrill-seeking. it was 1 or 2 am in the morning and we had just watched a couple horror movies or something, so we wanted to do something scary.

we had always heard about this bridge on a road way out in the foothills that was haunted. this road is in the boonies on a very narrow road that winds around deep into the hills for miles. there's a bridge somewhere along this road, where a 14 year old girl was murdered and dumped here (this part is true) a while ago. the rumors were that many witnesses saw her ghost when they drove past that bridge, often in the rear-view mirror. supposedly sometimes it was just floating eyes, sometimes the eyes were red. another detail about this road is that there is a house that lives at the very end, supposedly a family of albinos and they would chase you away (sometimes with shotgun blasts) because it is their property.

so we've all heard the story, and we wanted to check it out. so 2 or 3 cars of us drove out there at 2 a.m., we keep driving down this road for miles into the hills, but we never saw a bridge. eventually, we hit a dead end, so we all got out of the car. we saw a solitary house sitting on top of a small hill, with colorful flashing lights shining through all the windows. we had no idea what was up with that house, but we started hearing noises so the girls started freaking out and wanted to head back. so we get in our cars and turn around and drive off. while driving back, we crossed a bridge that we didnt even see on our drive in. we looked back but saw nothing, so we were disappointed. but a few minutes later, i looked back again, and suddenly like 50 white rabbits with red eyes jumped out of the bushes and flooded into the road behind us as we drove. it was fucking freaky, because the dark road suddenly became an sea of white fur and red eyes. we were spooked and confused as fuck.

later on we read similar first-hand experiences, one person said she saw a man at the end of the road on his knees, with his chest and head facing the sky, and animals of every kind (rabbits, squirrels, deers) were flocking to him from the surrounding fields.

this area of the road is closed off now.

hrmm, just a collection of random experiences

getting rear ended in my car by a construction van going 50mphish while i was completely stopped (not my fault) ended up skidding into the s4 in front of me because the impact was massive ( poor car )

all the glass on my car got busted out, frame on the roofline bent like it was a paperclip

i was wearing a hat which ended up in flying out the back window, of a jeep/suv so the whiplash was intense.

dont remember anything 5 minutes after impact though, and when i try to remember being stopped and getting hit its all in slow motion, and for some reason i can see a view like i was looking backwards when i know for sure i was looking at the s4 in front of me

my mom got some wierd calls on her cell and asked me to check it out

called the number and the dude on the other end just went off and talked about killing some jewish dude in crazy creepy detail

lights in the laundry room being turned on, i automatically turn off the lights when i leave the room/close the door but once in a while they are on.

even creepier was when they were on when i returned from a multi day trip, i KNOW they were not on when i left and noone else had access.

being at the beach with people, at night

walking a little bit away to piss, walking back in the direction that my group was in, seeing just semi transparent large human shaped outlines down the beach, very ghastly and scary, turning around and seeing my friends are in the opposite direction.

driving down to the poconos, seeing a deer with its rear legs chopped off, backside torn up, crawling on its belly and front legs off the road, a little bit more down the road, dude in his car with his head down on his steering wheel, nodding obviously guiltridden etc.

strange noises from down the street at night, indescribable howls that are SCARY

being younger (elementary school) messing around with friends outside when an OLD dude who is starving skinny and pale with super long flowing white hair rides down the street on a beat up fixie screaming "shave with a razor, razor, not scissors like your dad"

going fishing when i was young, being stupid and casting my hook without checking behind me, got some dude in the cheek real good, luckily he was chill and let it slide, so close to his eye

riding my bike real late at night when even the big/busy roads are empty, seeing glowing marble sized balls on the horizon that seem to be in pairs, spaced like human eyes but absolutely no other features

oh ya, my dad taught me how to ride a bike by making me ride at the park...

on the edge of the water, so if i fell i wouldve drown.

at my friends house when i was like 8 for a sleepover

we are up kinda lateish eating or w/e

we hear a helicopter and see it's a police one, searchlight searching all over the backyard and neighbors houses, my friends dad goes downstairs, gets a shotgun for himself and a pistol for his oldest son, who then go to all of us kiddies and tell us to sit tight and relax.

turns out there was some sort of fugitive rapist on the loose, in our neighborhood.

that family was so badass, dad secretly smoked alot, mom was frenetic and crazy, whole family ended up having to move because they sold their house, bought another one, the other house didnt really belong to the person who sold it, they couldnt move back to their old place since it was already sold, and ended up having to move far away

another time a bunch of us were fishin when we were like 9-10

there is this like large reservoir lake type thing across our street

its all fenced up but we went in their often.

one time i had a line in the water, there were some stripers and carp there amongst other things.

was using strong line, well tied hooks.

something huge and strong bites and breaks 50 pound line with well set drag, meaning it was a monster.

it wasnt the open ocean or anything, so it had to be some sort of monster, seriously.

attached to that lake is a kind of field, that you need to walk through some bushes to get to.

on one of our fishing trips we found the wallet of some random mexican dude, next to an area of grass that was sorta human outline shaped, and oddly void of much plant life, when everything else around it was overgrown, wallet was just creepy, as was the odd stain on the ground under it.

also where the water narrows, there is a small bridge overhead that is like sidewalk wide with tall chain link fences on both sides.

one day we noticed that in the middle of the fence on one side, there is a human sized hole cut in the fencing, but the only place that would lead to is the water 15-20 feet below which was very shallow, and had concrete under it.

we always wondered if someone killed themselves and got washed downstream.

supposedly (99% true apparently) a former teacher in the area years ago used that bridge to do terrible things to a young female student at night.

weirdest experience...

I was staying in a hostel when i first got to NZ while we were looking for a spot to stay more permanently. The hostel room had me in it with 4 other dudes.

Went out one night and got real fuckin drunk... came back and went to bed.

I was having a dream that a bunch of guys in the room and i were kneeling on our beds, laughing our heads off, and pissing all over our beds.

I woke up...

and i was kneeling on my bed, laughing my head off and pissing all over my bed.

Everyone else was asleep.

(luckily there was one empty bed left so i switched mattresses and sheets and everything with it... poor dude a couple days later moved in and onto that bed. And i think he's still sleeping there)

woke up at about 3am this morning and looked across the bed towards my clock and my curtain was bunching up on my pillow, making the shape of a mans face. i completely shat myself. thought someone was lying in bed next to me. this sort of thing happens to me quite a bit. waking up and freaking out over something imaginary.

there was this one time in maybe junior year in high school, i was staying at my boyfriend at the time's cousin's house out of town. while i was sleeping, i would wake up to my legs feeling numb and kind of like someone was stabbing them, so i kept hitting my legs like SNAP OUT OF IT! but no. mega bad energy in that joint.

also, my friend peter and i were driving up in the hills (piedmont/sierra road) and we saw like ghost antlers floating across the road and then suddenly disappear. kinda like wtf? did you see that?

a few times a week when i wake up in the middle of the night to piss i get lost in my room trying to find my way out the door to the hallway.. like ill walk into my closet, walk into a wall, etc etc.. its pretty confusing in the dark with ur eyes half open and u have to piss insanely bad, its happened to me for a full five minutes before and my room is like 12 by 12 feet
