... fumer ... as in "lets go out for a fumer"...its a play on the Italian word for "smoke"

Actually Italian is fumo and french is fumer. If you like french slang you could call them "clopes". I know I never use the word cigarettes and always clopes and so do most people I know. Some frenglish thing you hear in Quebec: Je peux te bumer des clopes? so bumer is from the english word "to bum" and the rest is in french.

i think this is mainly a korean thing... but cigarettes in korean is dambae (pronounced dahm bay) so when someone asks for a cigarette they ask, "hey do you know Tom Bay?"

i've never heard that before. incidentally, fndmybetterhalf, has anyone ever called you bob bo?
