I'll try to post another pic of the jeans. I just dug through some old photo shoots and found this one of me reaching for a clap light. You can really see the difference in the fit from my earlier post of the Chinese production 1980s. The first season 1980s fit closer to current 1950s IMO.

Ryan, did you get around to posting more pics of your Japanese production indigo KMW 1980s?

not gonna lie. those are pretty dope. my rockers are starting to show some whiskering and honeycombing as well, but i wear the hell out of these though. biked 10 or so miles yesterday and they don't seem any less tough.

Here are my first season KMW 1980 (china production) after one year a few washes.

I have a pair of KMW Rockers and was wondering if anyone else who has them ahs had a problem with a piece of denim on the right side on the inside of the fly. On my pair I guess at the bottom of the fly on the inside of the jeans the denim is sewn into a sharp, stiff point and it has poked a hole through my jeans...so I'm really jsut wondering if anyone else had this problem?

I agree that they fit the look, but I'm not really capable of pulling of the cotton duck look, but I do desire some striped denim like that, and I much prefer these to the strongholds.

It doesn't appear to be riveted anywhere, I'm almost tempted to robocop and have my tailor remove that...are there any closer pictures of that pocket other than context. Ryan, do you know if it is denim on top of denim and it is "possible" to remove that pocket.

For one, stop saying robocop.

I'm interested in these jeans as well but I have a pair of patch pocket jeans coming to me from Stronghold so I don't know if I'd need two. I think the striping on these is more subtle than the hickory selvedge Stronghold offers.

Finally got some time to to take these pics (and on that note i appologize for their quality).

But here are my 1950 AWA's. Took some time to get used to the fit after my SExIH01, but this is becoming a great relaxed pair.

Are you at 6 months of everyday wear? Would it be worth it for you to post some photos? I am curious...

They stopped being everyday wear after about 4 months I think. They are on weekly rotation since then. Sorry for not being clear. I could probably get some pictures if you wanted though. Can't wait to put some skating time into these this summer, so I might wait till middle of summer to give a update.
