the jeans look far out

i wish there were more shots of how the jeans fit

and i would like finer control of the viewer-----front and back shots of the same pair of jeans, for example

thanks for sharing

hope to see some kato in person sometime

I understand...but Katobrand.com is a trade site, just to give a feel of the range not sell from it, our retails don't like us doing that!!!!

but thanks for your input

oh, i understand that it isn't an online store.

its just that the jeans seem to have unique cuts-----it makes me wonder how they look on a person

thanks for sharing though. this messageboard benefits so much from having special access to denim artisan-types

hey DenimDestroyed,

I'll not use SuFu for advertizing, just info.......:D :D :D

unless you want me to that is.....just look to Bomberairport...new site coming soon, better picture so I'm told

thanks, I was actually going to ask you if you had any Kato updates.

Looks good, kind of like a 45rpm and Levi's Engineered hybrid I think.

Kato has worked with at least one of those two....in fact we made cloth and designed for the company

So I tried on a pair of Kato at American Rag on La Brea. Don't remember which ones they were though (my guess would be http://www.bomberairport.co.uk/PANT%2025SP%2031%2069/).

Its kinda interesting how the pocket placement made it look like i was slouching them when they were actually sitting normally. I probably should have taken a camera in :P

Neil- please keep posting, one day ill be able to afford your products, the shirts and whatnot are really nice, ive allways loved kato stuff, just so nice, the pieces other than the jeans remind me of 45rpm but with just a touch more depth (?).

What size are you?

I would warn people looking at these jeans that they stretch out a LOT! Beautiful jeans, but if I'd known how much stretch to expect I would have sized down one more size.

Been wearing my 25SP-31-69s (rolls off the tongue) for about a month straight, and I've gotten nearly two inches of stretch in the waistband. Ah well, guess that's what belts are for.

hello Theetruscan.

you have a pair of red cast, it's a double spun thread which by nature has a LOT more movement in, you are right and you should have been told this when you got the. where did you buy them from?

the main collection in NOT double spun and will not stretch out as much as the red cast denim does. max stretch is an inch which will pull back on first wash/hot water bath, like I said RedCast is a different weave and will pull back

sorry you where not told this.

I appreciate the experimental nature of this line. You offer more than just the same old, boring, standard five pocket jeans. I'll admit, the styles seem to be a bit over the top for me, but I really enjoy the creativity. Keep up the good work!

P.S.

Like denimdestroyedmylife, I too would like to see how the jeans look on an actual model.

I'll try and snap a few pictures of people in PDX wearing Katos.

Neil, the jeans stretched more than I thought, but it turns out the real problem was that, somehow I honestly don't know why, I lost around 20 pounds in the months since buying the jeans. Hard to blame the seller for that.
