We have our new organic bamboo fabrics are available. They are all really, really nice. They are lighter weight than our previous knits which would make them a true t-shirt weight in our opinion. The fabric is very luxurious. They are the softest, most breathable fabric we have come across. I could wear a l/s black henley in the summer heat in Nebraska and not sweat to death. The garment prices that use jersey did go up by $4. The natural is still organic cotton, but in a weight comparable to the bamboo.

We also have some new pics of the s/s v-neck and henley. The henley pics aren't the best, but they will at least give you an idea of the garment. When we get some more neutral colors made, I will take some more pics. The green v-neck below is not in our current olive green. The olive green is a richer green.

We also added several different linen fabrics for our button down shirt. We are still not 100% sure how much of each fabric we can get, except for the houndstooth(we should be able to use that for a while)

Hey Guys...

I just want to be prefectly honest here. We don't really know which way to go here. We may suspend orders for a little while, maybe 3 weeks or so, to get a decent inventory built up. Recently, some orders have taken much longer than they should, and we are doing all we can to get them done. We really don't want to raise our prices and Colby can't afford to go to part-time right now and we need a little more time before we feel comfortable with someone else sewing our garments.

We are thinking of stocking 34-40 and then 42 and 44 would be special orders. How much does the wait play into your guys thinking about ordering. If we could ship something out tomorrow, would that make any of you buy that product now, instead of ordering something and maybe waiting a month for it? What if we raised our prices slightly to account for the inventory. Maybe 10%?

We could use some help...

Thanks...

im still waiting on my order, i hope i get it by summers end :)

i think you should stock the popular sizes, raising prices by 5% to account for stock, and special orders would be priced at an increased price of 10% of the tag price.

just an idea.

As of May 15 we will stop taking orders for two to three weeks. We will be posting up garments available for immediate shipment though. We are going to finish filling the orders all ready received and then start to get an inventory going. The prices will be going up 5%-10% to account for keeping an inventory. We will stock 3 or 4 of our most popular sizes, probably 34-40. If you are 42 or 44, you can place an order and then expect about a 3 week turnaround time. Custom jobs will probably also be a little more expensive as well. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Expect a s/s linen shirt, a sleeveless hoodie and another linen jacket in the immediate future with a pair of linen pants coming too. We are also going to have some upgraded hardware on our zipup hoodies...

Thanks for your support guys,

Michael

All right, we got a little online store going here. It is through eCrater, which is an awesome free online store builder that works with Google Checkout. One feature is that is kind of annoying is there has to be a different listing for each size in each color. So each "category" is actually an item, and then the subcategories are the size and than they will have the colors. I really like the simplicity of everything though...

I just have a few items up there now. Mostly just extras. Should have most of the knits and button ups up by the 16th of this month. There will also be free shipping until July 16th on all orders to US or Canada. If there is a customer who would like to purchase something from the website that doesn't live in the US or Canada let me know, I will send you an invoice with a reduced shipping rate. I hope to work out all the bugs by next week...

Let me know what you think of it...

Alright, the one or two big boxes have turned to four of five small boxes which I hope to receive throughout the week. We do have some smalls available now in white and olive green in the v-neck, basic tee & henley.

One weird thing about the store is that ecrater does not have an inventory system now, so if an item sells, I need to hide it in order for someone not to order it. So a situation could occur when one person orders something and someone else orders the same thing right after. In that situation I would refund the money to the second buyer, and if the garment is not one-of-a-kind, offer to be him on the waiting list for that garment in that size. Ecrater will have an inventory feature very soon, and that will get rid of that problem...

Also we are changing our custom order guidelines. All custom orders require a minimum purchase of 3 garments. Knits cost an additional $6 per alteration and and wovens cost an additional $12 per alteration. Garments will take approximately 4-6 weeks to be shipped.

We are sorry we can't be a little more flexible with the custom orders, but those were what were slowing us down. If a person goes on the waiting list for an item, the plan is to have that item shipped out within two weeks.

Here are three of our new knits along with links to their place in our online store. (Our knits will also be offered in black and chocolate brown)

Just wanted to say that I love your jackets and hoodies and hopefully I can find the money to buy some soon. Cheers.

Great! You can use a cool iron or really the best thing we found is to use that downy wrinkle release. You really don't really have to flatten it out with your hands. Just spray it when it is hanging up and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. You can also spray it on before you iron. I think a bottle costs around $6, but it lasts a long time...

OK, here a few more pieces. We will probably be doing the linen lined hoodie, but we won't be using that jersey again...

Italian Linen Jacket W/ Jersey Lining (Only Available in Size 36) $225 - This may be the nicest garment we have offered. This is probably a spring/fall jacket, but if you you have cool summer nights, it will work too. It is pretty much medium weight. It will keep you a little warmer than you would probably expect...

This is more on the lightweight side of things. Too heavy to be worn in the summer heat, but it would work on summer nights or for spring/fall.

The model in this picture is 6'2 170lbs with a 36.75" chest. This garment is probably in between a normal 38 or 40.
