What other jeans use a similar indigo as Nudies Raw?

Hello all,

I was wondering what other jeans (regular cut) use the same amount/type of indigo that Nudies use on their Raw denim. I'm looking for a new pair but I want a pair that has the same look to the fading as my RRDS do.. the color's so when fading..

Any info will be appreciated,

if i'm not mistaken, imperials have similar denim/color as nudie selvedge. i think the king is a similar cut the rr, or the duke is more sj

Yeah I have owned both RRDS and Imperial duke, and the denim is very similar. The fading seems to be very similar at this stage as well (3 months in to the imperials). Go the dukes. I think the kings are bit fuller in cut than RRDS.

i have also owned both RRDS and imperials and all i can say is that the imperials are tough. they are so stiff its just unbelievable. Made my RRDS feel like silk pants. The denim is very similar though i would agree.

perhaps another nudie then if you're scared of the denim of oz. are you concerned that flying monkeys will swarm you en masse if you wear imperials? are you scared that dorothy will give you strange weiner fades? perhaps the denim will be so stiff that you put the tin man out of a job? i think i see where you are coming from.

:confused: Imperials don't make my stick size (29). Do Imperials stretch much? I might consider buying a 30. Kiya, does Self Edge have any raw Dukes? If so how much?

a) consensus seems to be that imperial dukes run way small

you could also try the straight sven japanese selvedge for a little variety

huh?

actually, yes Imperial does make your size.

they will stretch about 3/4" in the waist after a month of wear, but that stretch will come back in nicely with a 25 minute soak.
