just looking for feedback on a few names for a clothing store. i don't want to list any brands we are hoping to stock, because i don't want to get anybodys hopes up (mostly my hopes) or jinx anything, but it will be a cutting edge street wear store with a feel similar to something like opening ceremony in nyc. feel free to make any comments on the names.

Loom is a decent name, Stock and Kollection certainly aren't.

Where are you opening? Are you spending much on making the

inside of the store evoke whatever name you choose, or do you

just need a good name to hang your hat on, so to speak?

i like loom a lot as well, but a lot of people i have ran it by don't like it as much. we are opening in toronto and hopefully early next spring. i definitely want the inside of the store to evoke the name and i think we could do that very well using loom.

thanks guys and keep the comments coming!

Considering this, I would say Loom is your best bet. You could pick up some cheap

2nd or even 3rd hand looms at a junk shop and hang clothing on them, keep the lighting a little lower than your usual boutique, let it have that dusty, 'I just walked into the coolest atmosphere in the world' sort of feeling.

If anything, I would avoid Kollection for generally looking a little silly, and not really lending itself well to branding. The same goes for Stock, too generic and plus, Livestock's pretty well known, I'd surmise, amongst streetwear fans in Canada, so it might make people think you're being derivative, no matter what you're actually carrying in-store.
