SUPER Dry Cleaning TECHNIQUE

But i was wondering, I wanted to keep the darker sort of grey indigo of my RRDSs and the inevitable wash will come soon or later.

If I were to dry clean them, would it affect the colour and its stiffness in anyway?

Or is there another method to preserve the darker cast of the denim?

your really not going to lose that much indigo as long as you keep it in a cold ass soak for about an hour just to get rid of that wretched smell and all those light stains. just remember the hotter the water is the more indigo you will lose.

i would probbaly just go with the cold soak inside out and then hang dry to have them get really stiff again, obviously the creases will be reset but same will apply to all techniques you use.

okay...i will get down to making a dry cleaning thread. too many dry cleaners around here.

yes you lose the dry denim sheen. otherwise it's the least invasive form of cleaning your jeans properly (standing your jeans in cold water without agitating them doesn't count)
