just wondering does anyone own the new standards and the nudie SS (straight sven)

just wondering if the standards are alot tighter than the SS? havent really seen many people here with the SS on, but from my understanding its roomier in the thigh and leg than the NS..

The NS tighter and more tapered than the SS. The rise on the NS is also lower.

reporter: "what do you think about western civilization?"

gandhi: "i think it would be a good idea."

holeinthewall: you'll want to go about a size down, i think. i wear 27 in NS and when i tried a 29 Tight it felt all sorts of wrong in the waist, so i imagine a 28 Tight would have fit me better. a size or so down when you switch to APC.

rest of world: so...wtf do you guys do to your jeans, my APCs are barely getting any real contrast and i live in them already. of course im in the military so most of the day i have to wear my uniform. but between hours i do about 2 km of walking here and there so it's not like my jeans aren't being bashed up or anything. admittedly, i don't skate or bike in them (which is the new health craze at the moment it seems)

I didn't see this covered anywhere: anyone know how the fit of the current "straight jeans" compares to the hipsters? I have a pair of 28 hipsters that fit me well, but could stand to be a little bit roomier all around.

About the Women's Low-Rise (Hipsters) for that girl... I have a pair and I'm getting kind of sick of them because the rise is really really low while the leg is not particularly that tight (on me at least). I think I should've gotten NS's, which is what I'll probably do soon. I tried on both at the store and I got talked into the Hipster over the NS which was a mistake. My problem arises in the fact that I like to stick my hands in my pockets so they've bunched down even further, and now they let half of my ass crack show. Being so low, they're also not that flattering for me. I could use that extra 1" of rise in the NS now, definitely.

For a man's legs though, I do like the width of the APC Hipster/NS legs. For women, I think the skinnier or extra-skinny legs might be more flattering.

i just got my hipsters today... pockets will need getting used to. they are really fucking tight. i don't feel so well actually. unfortunately the thigh right now is perfect... hopefully it won't suck when the thighs stretch... i'm thinking _maybe_ i could have sized down 1 more (even though i already went down 3 sizes) since i can button all the buttons right now... i'm leaving the top one unbuttoned though, & it feels like the rest are going to burst any second.

hey im thinking of getting some apc NS raw, how do these compare with nudie's slimjims? this is the first time im buying premium denim, I've been reading around the threads but any helpful advice would be great. thanks!

slimjims are tighter in the hips and thighs and lower rise than NS. the hem is about the same. also slimhjims do not taper from the knee down while NS do a little bit.

Alien vs Predator, Freddie vs Jason, Nudie vs A.P.C.

Hi i've been lurking here for a while but havent post yet

just need some help here

Im currently wearing RRDS sz 29

I wanted to order APC NS from denimbar, the lady there suggested me to take 27

however they dont have 27 anymore

will size 26 fits fine with me, or will it be too small?

they may not fit eventually if you can only get one button done.

I wear 29 SSDS and it took me like 20 minutes to get my sz 27 New Standards buttoned the first time... with a 26 I'd probably have to stretch the waist out by hand just to get them on.
