oki-ni denim?

What is the deal with oki-ni denim? I really no nothing about it, but some of the jeans on the site look really nice. Do they sell in stores anywhere and does anyone have any experience with them?

The diesel and evisu ones look nice...

somebody's mentioned that evisu x oki-ni is fairly ordinary quality wise...somebody i remember. construction's not very good, if my memory holds...something like that.

oki-ni is only sold on their website, check out their "about us" page. very cool design collective though.

I had a pair for a day before I sent it back. The fit wasn't that good and thinking back, the quality was just okay.

all the evisuxoki-ni jeans seem to be made in macau or malasia i looked at a couple of pairs but they were not very good quality(and the evisu shop is just down the road from oki-ni).

the evisuxoki-ni seems to have gotten better quality/more detailed with time

it still isn't top-notch like the made in japan lines, but i thought it was at least decent.

other than the evisu collabs, they do a lot of interesting stuff with denim and otherwise.

my favorite pair of levi's i have ever owned was a pair done by oki-ni: twisted seam comfort fit with satin bound seams and pockets with a chunky leather cinchback. It was a dark raw indigo and faded amazingly. After losing weight, I ended up selling them to someone in monte carlo for more than i got them for. They also do selvage denim, with duffer of st. george, as well as other labels that escape me. They do have "stores" where you can see items in person and possibly? try them on but I believe they are mainly in the uk.

i had a oki-ni x maharishi pair way back in the day. details were dope but i sold them.

I notice they've just closed their London Saville Row shop. Sign on the door said the shop will become 'mobile', whilst they will continue their online presence.

i think their online products and collabs are quite expensive
