1977 was the heyday of the bands and style he admired growing up, so although he might have been born in the same year, i kinda get the impression the brand has a little more emphasis on the music side of things...

ex. (music note logo on cut&sew items, vinyl record tags, Guitar pick and pocket, etc.)

As far as I know, only Barracuda on Melrose carries the full range of april 77 (on the 2nd floor). American Rag on La Brea stocks the jeans & pants. I think some place at the lab in OC used to carry them, but I'm not sure if they do anymore.

I called Barracuda a little while ago and they didn't have any outerwear at all. April 77 left the lab over half a year ago.

Its looking harder & harder to find their stuff, especially for the LA people. As far as I know urban doesn't carry them. If they were, your best luck would be the one on melrose. I would be willing to bet that even if they had them, they'd only stock the jeans.

this is true, urban on broadway right above houston had a small collection of joeys. i was disappointed to see a77 there

Is this model of April 77 different from the other joeys? This model seems to have more allowance at the thigh area.... then tapered down to the same small helm that joey has...

he probably sized up. either that, or its a different cut. they make the "funeral" cut, and the "sinner" cut which are both not as tight.

eh i hate to spam this stupid question everywhere, but i have to find out before my time allowed to return this runs out. anyone who has dischords: how long must you wear them to see how far they'll stretch? and how much do they stretch?

They stated the meaurement there.. the upper part of the jeans(from knee upwards to waist) is very similar to my dior homme Sz 30 19cm.. but the last time i tried on a pair of Aprill 77 black Joey in Sz 33 they were skin tight! i am confused here......

I got a pair of those in my true size and they fit just slightly tighter than in the picture you posted. Of course, you have to take into account how big your legs are.

you know, if you're a size 35, you wouldn't look nice in a pair of april 77s. Getting them 2 size down would be tighter than skin tight.

although i agree with test that it would probably not go well, there's always the possibility that it might... it's mainly the fittage of the thighs that matters the most.

I usually wear 25-26 and I tried exactly the same that seven.homme bought in 26 and they were too tight, I couldn't button them up. They didn't have the 27 and 28 were too loose. So I guess that you need to buy them one size bigger than you usually do.
