^^ very nice work Sunsnatcher! I enjoy the game your playing with the shadows and shape of the face. Bringing in some of that light to the hand and possibly the silhouette could help with the form. Adding some shadow to the gold would bring out the detail and add depth as well. The work shows great style and discipline though!! thanks for sharing.

here's a recent piece from my portfolio:

That's real cool, would love to fuck with collages more!

The hand could have been worked through a bit more, yeah, but I decided to go with something more wispy and unfocused. The silhouette is actually a bit easier to make out in real life, my phone doesn't really show the different blues and browns used in it (I didn't use any black at all for this piece, but I hear what you're saying. It'll be hanging at Liljevalchs Museum of Art here in Stockholm come spring, I'm super excited!

Am I posting too many pictures/post right now or is it fine? I'll edit it if I am!

I've got a couple of more laying around but I could save them for later. Most of these are probably one-two years old.

Congrats Sunsnatcher on your piece soon to be in the Liljevalchs Museum of Art! That's wonderful and quite deserved. Wish I could make it out there to support.

nice charcoal work, definitely something I need to experiment with more

Here are two main pieces I did for two bodies of works that revolved around abstraction.

-The first being a study in color theory and deconstruction of iconic graphics (flags)

-The second involved the use of controlled abstract expressionism to frame and contrast portions of traditional portraits.

A while ago I made these bags with my brother. All organically hand dyed korean fabrics with charcoal, persimmon, gallnut, ash, and indigo plant. All made in Seoul.

After a couple of months we put the brand on hold for the next 7 months but restarted recently and are releasing a 5 bag collection very soon. Thought I'd post some pictures here before our release:

Our previous collection was 100% organic guangmok cotton, but for our new collection we use a Korean silk/cotton blend and sourced a great Italian leather

Apologies for the long post! Can't be thankful enough to Sufu for all the support.

For more updates/sneakpeaks you can check out Facebook Page. Our new website and collection will be launched later in the month. K thanks!
