Working on this (with the later help of an editor) for an independent magazine that's starting up. I didn't take the pictures.

Advice on margins, spacing, fonts used, any of that? Too boring? I've never had any education on this sort of thing so I'm sort of making it up as I go along, any nitpicking helps.

Well, you want the top margins to be larger than the bottom, and the fold-valley margins larger than the one within the page.
