Toronto people, anybody read The Stars today about skinny jeans? (08/17/06)

They are talking about skinny jeans in their fashion section.

Do you think an article like that will blow up the whole skinny jean scene in Toronto, or it has already started in Toronto?

they showed pictures of employees from store to store rocking brands like nudie, acne, miss sixty, etc.

well basically LOTs of Nudies..........again do you think Nudie will blow up in Toronto?

i think slim jeans have already pretty much exploded...but most people will still buy "gap" etc due to the price of the other brands...

I guess I am just not keeping up with it but I just don't dig the fit of those jeans at all. That tight around the calf thing just looks all out of proportion to me, really ugly. I do not think that fit is for everybody like the article says. Some definately can pull it off well but most people just ain't going to look good wearing that. If you have athletic or muscular thighs, those jeans are going to look very strange.

Yeah, skinny Nudies are huge in Toronto. I've seen them all over the place.

Ive seen homeless looking kids, like not intentionally homeless looking, wearing nudies. I see nudies on the subway alot, its not very surprising anymore

why do americans always mention j.lindeberg in the same sentence as nudie and acne? It's getting on my nerves. Atleast in Scandinavia, I'd say the probably even cater for different groups.
