bought this pair in a flea market near our house for 900PHP(18USD+/-). feels like raw/dry denim but i may be wrong(one-wash maybe?)... the denim is selvedge(or fake selvedge):o .

item has no brand tags.only tag in it is the waistXlength measurements. maybe some of you had/has an item similar to this and maybe you can give some info on the quality and original price of it.

pictures are not very good, but that's quite a clear selvedged finish and i guess at least enough indigo to be nearly raw anyway. if the construction is decent (ie. the jeans prove to be durable enough) i'd say you've got a nice pair of dark jeans to play with for a great price.

edit: i don't know what brand they are, does the top fly button have anything printed on it?

sorry for the bad pics.. LOL i need to use the flash coz its kinda dark here. up-close, the jeans are pretty dark... no clues on what brand this is. not even the buttons have any brands on it. BTW, these are button fly jeans. im starting to think that these are custom made by some tailor here who has access to selvedge denim fabric(a looooooong shot). im still searching the net for some pics that has the characteristics similar to mine.

on the quality of the construction, im still crossing my fingers. if ever they are of a "tough" construction, it's a steal IMHO.:D

the one who's in the stall where i bought this(i think she's the owner) said the jeans where included in a package form overseas by her father a couple of months ago. nobody wanted the jeans coz they're too "plain"(no fading, whiskering, distressed effects). that was the only info i got from her. this was the only pair of jeans of this look in the pile. a lot where cargo, camo, and distressed jeans. all new but i guess they didn't like them. some has tags, others dont.

im hoping that these jeans are of good quality. but you know what other people saw, "what you pay is what you get":D

still, even if the jeans are not as good as the premium ones like levi's, nudies, 5ep, etc. for 18 bucks, i'd still keep it. it will have at least a 3-year life span with me as the owner.LOL:cool:

edit: BTW, i only got the jeans for it's raw look. i never knew they're selvedge till i tried them on and saw the edge.

Post some pics of the jeans inside out, pics of the buttons, up close pics of the denim, etc, etc.

Yeah, Whoever made those jeans knew what they were doing. They look good to me.

thanks for the help guys. i really appreciate it.:)

excellent find. you are lucky indeed. how do they fit?

they fit ok for me. probably 2-3cms bigger in the waist. my only problem is the length. im a bit on the heavy side(measurements of this pair's waist is 34):o:D and their length is 34. im planning to re-hem this but i'll try to leave 1"-1.5" to make room for shrinking.

maj dont you want to cuff them up a few turns and let them hang over your shoes for some great fading ? forget hemming them if so

i don't now... i'm considering it. but the thing is i seldom use shoes when wearing jeans (2-3 times in 4months, maybe)... i always use sandals when i go out in the metro. i might hem them and still keep em long. maybe 1.5-2 inches longer perhaps.. they're really long for me... hides my feet when not cuffed.:D
