I thought I had half the homework I thought I did so I ended up having to half-ass all of it so now I get to go hang my shitty designs in front of the entire class for three hours. Fuck. Have to do ten times better on the rest of my work this week so I don't feel like a total failure so now I have even more work.

I, too, have a three-hour critique. My dumb bitch GSI gave us a week to make a stupid zine and one weekend to make a cohesive, presentable piece.

I was all fucked up on Friday night at some hotel party and had to move my car so someone could leave and had to back it in to a parking spot for convienence purposes. I was in a lower income neighborhood and they didn't have parking curbs, they had these big metal poles (I have no idea why)

Long story short I touched the pole with my bumper on my brand new leased vehicle. There is a couple chips out of the bumper in one spot and a verry small dent in another. I didn't think it was a big deal but the dealership is trying to tell me it's going to cost $1500 to get a new bumper.

Can anyone with any kind of car knowledge verify this? Theres a friend of the family who can fix it no problem but I guess it's a big deal on leased cars not to bring it to the dealership

Plz someone drop some knowledge on my ass

one time when i was at my friends house in like 6th grade, we went up to his mom and boyfriend's room to use the internet (because back then the internet was a big fucking deal and if you had that shit at your house you were BALLLIINN). anyways, my friend tells me to go into this one cupboard to get a blank cd or something and i see his mom's dildo with some gnarly ass pubes on it and shit and it grossed me the fuck out to no end.

well, that wasn't the end of it. i told a mutual friend of ours about it and he told me about some "pictures" his mom had in the cupboard and how they were abslutely terrifying. well being the young, curious, sneaky bastard i was i decided i needed to investigate. next time i was at this kids house, i went into the cupboard and found a manilla folder that looked .. suspect. i opened it up and found TONS of pictures of his mom spread eagle on her bed with a fucking MAGLITE up her pussy - and i mean UP it .. no dippin the tip bullshit, she had that fucking maglite inside of her full force. and it wasn't one of those lil wack ass maglite, this was like one of those cop-issued joints. shit will forever be burned into my memory. to this day, whenever i need to 86 a boner in public i will think of those images.

oh, and like a week later me and my friend scanned the pictures into a computer and put them on a cd and handed them out to a ton of people because that's how we roll.

you can get the repair done anywhere to my knowledge. i always lease and always fuck up my bumpers. where on the bumper is a big part of it. sometimes they can fix and other times they have to replace the whole bumper. the dealerships' guys are retarded half the time and the prices generally suck. if you've got a guy, don't be afraid to use him/her.

I was riding my bike home from school today, on the edge of campus on the sidewalk (no bike lane on the street at that section) and there were 3 black guys taking up the whole sidewalk, so I slowed down behind them. They noticed me and spread out so I could pass them and one of them fucking kicked my rear wheel, making it fall off the sidewalk into the street. His friends thought it was fucked up but he claimed, "I always do that to white people" and his friends apologized for him being so stupid. At least my bike is fine.

I have this thing where I am very slow to reply to the emails and pm's that I want to reply to most, the reasoning behind this being that I feel that I should put more thought and time into these mails.

And then I end up postponing them all the time...

I do this too, but mostly with facebook. The more important my reply is the more i'l put it aside and sit on it for abit just so I come back with a mind blowing answer.. but often its not really that serious as long as I honestly express myself.

I'm sorry you had to go through this. This is an epidemic in the black community. Often its not the entire group of black dudes that wants to beat your ass, its just one dumb nigga that thinks thats how hes going to gain respect from his crew.

I have a few friends like this (one of them is korean even) that take out brazen unjustified anger on any white person that happens to be in the wrong place at the right time. So dont take it personal since the truth of the matter is that white folks make those kind of people uncomfortable in their own skin so they attack you guys out of insecurity within themselves.

Well it is definitely true that the dealership price will ALWAYS be the worst price for repairs and its certainly true that it depends where the dent is. If its into a sidebar or something you could be fucked. The only kicker with the lease thing is... if they inspect it and find work done that wasn't by them, they might try to fuck you with a fine when you go in after your lease is up. Check your warranty information. Or if you try to buy out your lease early and switch to a different car, they could screw you on the re-value.

Having said that: depending on just how much cheaper the guy you know is, its probably worth it.

I currently work for Infiniti. And things like this change by manufacturer and by dealership.
