So here's a story..

Some leather freak came into Self Edge today, he said he lurks on Sufu..

He brought with him six wallets, 3 were unused..

3 Red Moons, 1 KC, 1 LGC, and one which had no branding which he bought in Osaka last year.

He'd never seen Flat Head wallets, belts or card cases in person and wanted to compare his..

He left with the conclusion that the Flat Head ones were constructed better than anything he'd seen. Personally i think it was a tie between the Flat Head goods and the one he picked up in Osaka. He left with one of the black mid-length wallets and a FH belt.

Jeffrey, if you're out there.. please post photos of your collection, others need to see this stuff.

thats true ive seen the old model fh over at t5.. and yeah they are constructed way better than rm's and the leather is way better too im no expert but i know what i see

it only sticks out over the top the least bit. kinda why I like it so much, that and it holds a bunch of CC's which most of the RM's don't.

Sexy, the wallet is nice too.

I was almost going to order that one but I went with the short wallet instead. I can't really do a wallet chain and I'd always worry about it falling out of my pocket.

I wish I could use one of the longer wallets but the whole half of your wallet is in plain sight thing bothers me, (I've had my wallet picked before too one of the worst feelings in the world to reach around for it and it not there.) This isn't so terrible in size compared to some, but due to my paranoia I still got the smallest chain thing I could because I didn't want it being taken w/o some sort of fight.

did you oil yours or anything? I usually just use stuff w/o anything but I found that on my samurai belt it did change the color nicely.

I oiled with obenauf's (sp?). All but one of my windows is painted black, and one that isn't doesn't get much sun so I didn't tan.

i love skull wallets, esp the pick slot.

i prefer some tan on the outside and a little oil in the beginning, but to each their own.

With nothing to do this summer, I decided to make a wallet for myself. My first attempt failed, but I'm pretty happy with my second one.

Raw, selvedge denim on the inside, leather on the outside. I'm hoping the denim will be able to fade with just having my cards in the slots. Please excuse my far from stellar sewing job.

are these white highs leather or suede? i'm guessing it's leather but the compression makes them look like suede. i hate the white mids they have now with the grey, i don't know why all whites don't exist (or do they? i've never seen them).

Attention Last Crop wallet owners: what the heck do you do wiht the round metal piece it came with? I had a brief demo form the SA at albaquerque shop,but im sitll not quite sure the purpose.

I don't own a Last Crops, but I think it might be an edge re-shaper. When the edges of your wallet get bent out of shape you run the piece over the edge to straigten it back out.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
