Details: Raf Simons derbies from FW2011. Purchased from Mr Porter for $450, originally retailed for $900. Made in italy, and they are top notch quality. worn about 3 times.

Bought from steveoffice. Tried them strictly on carpet and they were just too tight on me. Really disappointed it didn't work out. Fantastic quality on them.

these are awesome shoes and $285 is a steal, it's hard to find dress shoes that strike as good a balance between chunkiness (of soles & heels in particular) and non-pointed sleekness (of toe areas in particular). the leather & construction are also superb.

i have one pair of sz. 40s for trade (i have two other pairs of 40s to wear w/ narrower hem pants) looking for a pair of 41s to wear with wider hem pants.

Question: are they wide shoes? I'm a size 41 (but can wear size 42 runners or size 40 shoes if they're wide).
