really? i don't understand the appeal of Boris. I want to like them real bad, but i just can't do it. i feel so many other bands do this sound better. examples that come to mind: sleep (esp. volume I), isis, earth, dead meadow etc.

What have you heard? Nearly every Boris album sounds different. Amplifier Worship, Heavy Rocks, Flood, the Merzbow collabs, Feedbacker/Boris at Last and Akuma no Uta all sound pretty unique.

I've been listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers new album a lot recently.

I like it a lot. I'm not a fan so much of their fast stuff, but I think their slow songs are beautiful.

Such as Soul to Squeeze, it's a great, great song.

So I really like this album, because it's got a lot of really good slow songs.

Standout tracks so far: Snow ((Hey Oh)), Hard To Concentrate & 21st Century
